I always find it amusing how graphic designers get esoteric with their creation explanations and describe what we supposedly identify subconsciously, as in logo one where, “The pattern here was used to visually imply that something goes on ad infinitum.”

BS or the truth? Probably a bit of both.

I have two Staffies and anyone that’s been around them knows that they suffer from ADHD (Affection Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I’ve had to learn how to blog in bed with one hand so that I can use the other to scratch Cinnamon at the same time. I tried the scratch-then-blog approach, but invariably had tan Staffie walking around on my keyboard, licking my face and doing her best interpretation of the Infinite Monkey Theorem.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that I’m a sucker for anything web2.k9 and I doubly enjoy a site that knows what it’s users really need, so I was chuffed that the geniuses at Valleywag hooked me up with this handy dandy canine screen cleaner while I was browsing through it’s top quality journalism :p

One has to wonder who is the bulldog at Microsoft? Mmm, not so sure that Steve Balmer would ever do something quite so self-effacing

What’s better than a VC that likes to invest in early stage startups? One that has a sense of humour so that you can both laugh off the money that they’ve lost on your latest dumb idea!

A few days ago I was sitting in the comfy chair at home with my Mac on my lap, shifting it around, trying to create an air pocket between it and my lap so that they damn battery doesn’t heat up the crown jewels and I came across this talk by Israeli VC Yossi Vardi on “Local Warming”. The fact that I was battling Local Warming during the talk, made me cry with laughter.
